The Courtauld Film Society is a group for students to watch and discuss films in a democratic, intersectional environment.
We aim to show around 5 films per term and there is to be an emphasis on showing films made by/focused on stories representing women, people of colour, LGBTQI+ folks... (aka no W**dy Allen films.) This is to reflect what we consider to be important in the film industry as well as here at The Courtauld.
The society also self publishes a zine every term which complements the events we run.
Events will range from film screenings, discussions and social gatherings to Q&As with external speakers from the film industry.
