About the Union

Who are we and what do we do?

We are the representative body for the students of The Courtauld Institute of Art. We run alongside, but separate to, the University.

On joining the Courtauld students automatically become members of the The Student Union and thereby entitled to the use of our many services, to vote in our elections and to run for various positions within the Union.

Students are represented by the Union President, a full time sabbatical officer, a number of Vice Presidents, student volunteers who form the Executive Committee, and a Student Parliament. All representatives are democratically elected by the student body, and being themselves part of the student body, always work with the student body's interests at heart.
